July

Man did July come and go so fast!!
The end of June and all of July was jammed packed with something going on all the time. We sure had fun though and loved being able to spend it with our friends and family!
I missed the last few weeks of Junes happening so I will start there:
* warning this is a long post!*

June 20- 23rd I was able to participate in youth conference with my stake and Central stakes youth. It was probably the best experience I was a part of hands down. They picked people who were in need of home repairs from both stakes and narrowed it down to about 80 or so houses. We were put in little groups of 8 youth and 3 or 4 leaders. I was in a group of all girls and our project was to paint a woman's house who was in a wheelchair and had MS. Our project manager came over and let us know part of our job was to tear down a big tree in another guys yard as well. He was a little worried at how all us girls would be able to do it with no boys to help.  It wasn't easy but we got the job done! By the end we all had scraps all over our arms and legs, but the girls were always so happy and willing to serve. The youth are amazing and such great examples, no wonder why they changed the ages for missionaries!

For FHE one night my family headed over to Alyse and Jake's land to help plant raspberries. We had quit the system down and planted them in no time!

Tammie's birthday was on the 26th! Her sisters and grandma haddie were in town  so I went along to shop and out to eat with them. We stopped in to visit with grandma Olsen and visited for awhile there. I'm so glad that I have an amazing mother in law like Tammie! She is the nicest, most caring, and loving person you will ever meet! We sure love you Tammie!

We had the Ward reunion the last weekend of June. My aunt Michelle and her family were in charge and put on the whole thing this year. I was excited to go cause we haven't done a reunion in years... We went to Malad, ID to see the welsh festival they hold every year. They had things all around town so it was fun to see everything and share memories about when we were younger. It was great seeing everyone and catching up with all my cousins.

We went out to celebrate Tammie's birthday as a family that Saturday. We brought grandma Olsen to join us, after dinner she wanted to play cards. We ended up playing till 11 pm, she sure loves her cards and we sure love her!!!

  4th of July weekend:

On the 3rd we went to my parents to watch the Logan fireworks in their church field. We then lit some if our own fireworks and of course did some sparklers.

As we were heading home Chet had a great idea to go out to his parents and sleep outside under the stars. I forget how excited Katie (Chet's dog) gets and kept coming over and licking me and bringing me things she found... I'm so glad none of the things she brought were dead animals.... Then it started to rain a little bit so I finally went in and slept downstairs :)

On the 4th we went to support my brothers Boy Scout breakfast and then went home to go back to sleep. We headed up the Black Smith Fork Canyon to spend the day up at camp with the Olsen's friends. I mostly played in the creek with Max and Hunter and built water boats.

We ate dinner up there and then headed to meet my sisters in Hyrum for the Hyrum fireworks.

Chet was on call the rest of the week so it was pretty low key... We did go over to the check out all the cars at the fair grounds for the cruise-in Saturday morning and later went with Cam, Dale and the kids.  I met Chet by Sams later to watch the cars cruise up and down Main.

If Chet didn't have to work on Saturdays you would of found us at the derbies!!!
Preston derby:

Logan derby:

Or Chet would be playing in softball games. He was in a tournament one weekend with Zac. I had fun watching him play with Tammie, the White's and the James'. They did pretty good and loved seeing Chet run all the bases after hitting it out to the fence!

We also spent some nights out on the soccer field watching Bryce play!

We went out to celebrate Stella's 3rd birthday!!!! Boy did she get the ultimate princess party!! Along with all the princess dress up clothes she could ever think of.... We love ya Stella!!!

Is it just me or does Chet look so tiny here in this picture!?!? Can't believe we have been together for over 3 years... It only feels like yesterday!!!

Last week I spent Tuesday- Friday up at girls camp! It was so much fun just having it be our ward. The 2 camp directors we had did such an amazing job. Our theme was "super you" and they got to choose a super hero to be the whole time. We got to hike the Minnetonka Cave, play at Bear Lake, make lots of crafts, and we played a lot of games. Chet came up and was so grateful that he got to be one of our priesthood holders. I love all my girls and their sweet personalities they bring to young women's!!!

Michelle was caught licking her tin foil after making our yummy treat!

I got home Friday from camp and hurried and packed to head to Neola for the weekend. Tammie invited me to go with her back home to have a girls weekend with her sisters and their daughters /daughter in laws. I'm so glad I got to go! It was so much fun and love being with all the Jensen girls. We got there after dinner so we just talked with everyone who was still there. Shenna and little Hudson came from New York for a visit.... Hudson took a ride on Clay's horse and loved it!

The rest of the time we just visited, went out to see Brad and Cindy's house they are building, we had big family dinners and went out walking. Sunday we brought Hailey back with us for her volleyball camp at USU. We stopped in Park City and did a little shopping. When we got into Logan we drove around USU campus to show Tammie where to drop Hailey off Monday afternoon. Chet was at a BBQ for his friends birthday so I went over to Tammie and Jays and had dinner, visited and watched tv while I waited for Chet to come get me. It was fun to go and see Neola and spend time with family!!

While I was at camp and in Neola, Chet had the weekend off so him and Big A went to Wendover. He also went and watched the final softball games of the tournament he was in with Zac.
I can't believe that little miss Emelia is now 1!!!! We wish we were out in New Hampshire so we could of seen her on her b- day!! We sure love ya Emelia!!

For the 24th the boys slept over the night before and that morning we went and played tennis.

We came back to our place and I made a big breakfast. My family rode bikes to the parade and we met them there.... Haha Landon didn't like it to much!!

Stella and Landon got tons of candy thrown at them... It kind of got to be to much so we left before the parade was even half over!

I took this picture to document that my dad ATE an actual otter pop.... Anyone that knows him knows how much he HATES those things!! The rest of the day Chet was gone doing tows so I did things around the house. Later Chet, me and Bryce went and watched the fireworks by Willow Park. We had the best spot and didn't get stuck in any traffic!!

I do have to brag about Chet for a sec... He just got his certificate as an official wrecker now!!! I'm so proud of him and so grateful for all he does. He is one hard working man and I sure do love him!
