I've always enjoyed the 4th of July...

The Sunday before the 4th we went to Rudy's as a team for some good food.

After we went to the church parking lot and did our own fire work show.

I had to laugh had how excited grown men get when it came to fireworks :)  

On the actual day of the 4th....

The wives and kids went to a very long parade in the hot sun.

The guys got home early!! (This is big)

We went to Shady Grove for a big group dinner

Watched the firework show in a park overlooking downtown Austin.

All in all it was a pretty good day, and fun to spend half of it with Chet.

Stella is now 2!!!!

 I can't believe how big and cute she is. 

We were sad that we couldn't be there for her party. 

She was so excited to show us everything she got during our Face Time chat...

We love you Stella and cant wait to come play with you on your tramp.

I'm an aunt again!!! 

Emelia Ann Christensen was born  July. 22, 2012 

She is so stinkin cute and can't wait for the day we make it out to New Hampshire to see her.

 

This whole summer Arm Summer has been putting on contest for the wives to win prizes.

We wanted to be part of it so we had to dress up as a movie that we went to. 

We did Madagascar 3 and it was fun to get all decked out for the day! 

Now lets hope we just win!!!

June

June is the time we started seeing how hot and humid Texas gets in the summer.

I'm not sure how Chet works in it every single day.

I'm sure I wouldn't last a day out in the heat....

Me and the wives mostly hang out at the pool all day.

We've also ventured to get good shaved ice at Kawaii's and to Firehouse Subs for some yummy sandwiches.

 Cambria had her b-day on the 12th!!!  

It's rough missing families birthdays while out there. 

I wish I was there to celebrate the day with her, I will just have to when I get home!

Father's day came fast... Chet got spoiled by our ward and got a bag full of treats.

 It was good to talk with my dad and Jay!

We hope we could of been there to make it more special but it sounds like they got spoiled!

We are so lucky to have such great dads.

We appreciate all that they do for us and supporting us through our lives.

We love you!! 

Megan was brave and had her baby out here in Texas.
We got together and had a shower before she had baby Madyson!

 We were lucky and got to watch aspen while Megan was in the hospital.
She spent the night over at our house and is just like a little adult...which made it pretty easy to watch her :)

Tammie had her b-day on the 26th!!!
It sounded like she had a pretty good birthday when we talked to her on the phone.
We really wish we were back to do something for her birthday....we will just have to when we get back!!
Happy Birthday Tammie!! We love you!

 Chet's been enjoying the pool with the guys on their day off.

We even got to go to Schlitterbahn water park one day.
It was nice to actually spend the day relaxing and enjoying the water together.
We spent most of the day riding down lazy rivers on the tubes.
Later Chet went down some crazy water slides that I wasn't going to go near cause I was to way to chicken and scared to even try them, so I stayed back and played with kids.

Every year Vivint does a service project to give back and this year they help fix up a couples house.(the couple on the left in the picture) Chet spent most of his time caulking which he loved!!...I think it made him miss building houses back home :)

Let's just hope Chet doesn't get any ideas. :)

Sunday is the only day he gets off so this is where you can find him in the evenings!

It was nice to finally have all the wives here!!! 

I spend most my days with these cute girls and all their kids.

So I get my feel of kids all I want :)

Mothers day seemed to come so quick!! 

In my ward I got rose from the youth and then had a big dinner with some of our friends out here.

It was nice to talk to my mom and Tammie! 

I wished we were able to celebrate the day with them, maybe next year!?!

We're pretty lucky to have such amazing women in our lives.

We appreciate all that they do for us.

We love you guys!!

 

 

Alyse turned the big 21!!! 

This was the first birthday we were apart from each other EVER. 

I wish I could of been there to celebrate with her but I'm sure we will make up for it when I get home. Happy Birthday Bug!! We love you!!

During Memorial weekend we decided to go to 6th street in Austin with the Wheelwrights and Moss'.
It was not what we were expecting but it was fun to get out.
6th street is basically a street they close down on the weekends with a ton of little bars, and restaurants.
It was crazy and Chet kept saying, "it was just like Vegas but dirtier"...haha its probably true :) 
We stayed long just enough to walk up and down the street and to get a huge slice of pizza.
The pizza was so good and way to much for me.

April

April was a crazy month and full of lots of changes for us.

I had the chance to go through the Logan temple on the 3rd.

It was an amazing experience and loved every minute of it!

My family and Chet's were there to be part of my experience and I'm so grateful for all of them to come!!

Bry turned 14 on the 6th...

 We had planned to do a basketball party early that morning but someone was already using the gym so we ended up eating a big breakfast and watching him open his presents. 

I felt bad the rest to of the day we spent setting up for our reception.

 He was so nice about and later we went out to Costa Vida to celebrate and then had cake and ice cream. Happy birthday Bry!! We love you!

We are now finally married!!!!
The whole day was amazing and everything turned out perfect.
There is no greater feeling then being sealed to your best friend.
The sealer did a great job and we still remember/ reflect on the thing he counseled us to do.
It was a pretty busy day which made for a long day but it was worth it.
We enjoyed getting to see all our family and friends...thank you everyone for coming to show your support to us!!

Chet planned our honeymoon to Vegas himself !!

I found out a few weeks before we got married and he did a great job!

It was a much needed vacation after all the wedding planning.

We mostly walked the strip, shopped, ate lots of food, and Chet played a couple hands of 21. 

He did way good and was able to play for whole trip, food and some left over.

 Good job babe!!

Chet really wanted to go see the pawn shop on Pawn Stars.

For those who never heard or seen this its one of Chet's favorite shows on the History Channel.

We were a little disappointed and not really impressed and we didn't get to see any one from the show. 

 

 

How ever we did enjoy Rick's Restorations and Chet was in heaven!

He was so excited when we actually saw Rick and his brother in person.

 

 

On our way to Texas my sister Cam text to tell us that she is having her baby!!!

Landon Dale Burnett was born April.12,2012.

We cant wait to get back to Utah so we can meet and hold this little guy!

We made it to Texas, where are new home is for the summer...
Were living just outside Austin in a town called Round Rock.
Before Chet's busy days of working started we wanted to go do something fun.
We found a golf course near our place so we hit up the driving range.
Okay well Chet did I just watched and took pictures :)

We are loving it out here and having a blast.
Here are some pictures of our apartment complex we have been staying at...
It makes it pretty easy to spend most of your day by all the pools.
Not to mention the b-ball court, sand volleyball, tennis court, weight room, theater room inside.
